The Latest Dogs Needing Homes
Dero – Male, large breed, DOB 01/09/2014. Dero was abandoned in a town in Almeria almost blind and with clear symptoms of Leishmania. He is now stable on medication and has recovered well, although still partially sighted. He is an excellent dog; good, sweet and super playful! He walks very well on a lead and he loves cuddles! You will need a PPP licence to adopt Dero. Please like and share to help him find that forever family to comfort him forever.
Lolo – Large breed (Mastin X), 3 years old. Do you remember this lovely boy who was a well known stray that the sanctuary recently rescued? He used to walk the streets begging for food but he’s now all safe and sound! He’s a lovely, happy boy who gets on well with dogs and people. Please like and share to help him find a home.
MECA – Large female, DOB 16/08/2012. Meca was found in the middle of nowhere, wandering around lost and disorientated and unable to have the strength to carry on. She was covered in countless wounds and her ears had been cut which we know is a sign for possible fighting. She thankfully made a full recovery and is now a gorgeous, healthy girl. She is also a famous heroine; she led the volunteers to a young pup dumped in a rubbish container whose muzzle had been tied with tape so he couldn’t even make a sound to alert anyone. Meca was featured on the news for saving his life but still hasn’t found that forever home! She cannot be homed with cats and can be territorial with other dogs but is the most loving companion with people. You will need a PPP licence to rehome Meca. Please like and share to help her find her forever home. Thank you.
Rufus, Medium-large German Shepherd, 10 months old. This handsome boy was found tied up outside the sanctuary. He was so scared that he wouldn’t move and had to literally be carried inside. Now he’s settled in and proved to be an affectionate, playful boy. Please like and share to help him find his forever home. Thank you
Raspa, large female, approx 3 years old. This poor girl was found on the street in such a condition of neglect. She was starved and so weak, on the verge of collapse. Thankfully the sanctuary found her, even though they are full, they couldn’t turn her away. She is negative for all diseases and is a lovely, sweet girl. Raspa will need time in the sanctuary to recover and put on weight but she can be reserved. Please PM the page if you would like to discuss her further and like and share. Thanks
Very special home wanted!
This is little Pegaso, an adorable 3 year old boy. Unfortunately after his ordeal of being ran over when he was found, Pegaso is very nervous in new situations and with new people so needs a calm home where he can learn to come out of his shell on his terms. He’s been much loved by the wonderful head of the sanctuary so is learning that people aren’t bad.
He’s great with other dogs and cats so if you have a child free home and would have the time and patience to help him adjust, please get in touch! There is no reason why a beautiful little man like him shouldn’t have a forever home.
We have homed nervous dogs before and can provide plenty of support and backup. Please like and share to help him get around the Web! Thank you
Fluss, medium large mixed breed, DOB 01-09-2016. This poor dog had been thrown off a bridge into the wasteland below and had no way of getting back up by himself. It took the volunteers the best part of two weeks visiting and building up his trust in them to enable the rescue to finally take place. He’s now safe and sound at the sanctuary and ready for adoption. Fluss can only be rehomed in Spain as although mixed breed we think he has some Pitbull in him

Good morning, as the sun rises over the finca I hope the day goes well. I lay awake again last night wondering why nobody has ever shown interest in Gordi and Pinkie, 3 years they have been with us, 3 years of not knowing a family just for them. They are lovely dogs, Gordi loves to play ball, Pinkie loves to hunt for lizards, she will spend ages in one place waiting to see a lizard! Even if one is not there she waits in hope, bless her. Sadly they are not photogenic, not cute and fluffy, it breaks my heart every night as I shut them in their kennel for the night. Every night I tell them how beautiful they are and that their family is out there somewhere, just waiting for them to find them both.
