BEAUTIFUL PENNY, SWEET SWEET GIRL. SHE IS SCARED BUT NOTHING LIKE THE BOYS, SHE ALLOWED ME TO PICK HER UP AND CUDDLE HER TO MY HEART AND TELL HER THAT NO ONE WILL EVER HURT HER AGAIN. Today we have had blood tests done, flea and tick treatment, a scalibor collar put on (these little ones are running alive with fleas) she has been chipped and passports being prepared. She will be wormed in a day or so and rabies next week.PENNY will be spayed as soon as practical as she is the only girl around 5 boys Sunday she is being bathed by my lovely groomer Eva and getting her nails clipped. PENNY would really love a home with one or no other dogs so she can be shown just what lots of love humans can give.

PECAS, medium size, DOB Aug 2016. This beautiful girl was found begging for food around the fields and farmhouses of Almeria. As she was limping a kind person sheltered her in their house and called the sanctuary to see if they could help. The volunteers have taken Pecas to the vet who said that she has a malformation on her leg which is the cause of the limping and potentially why she was abandoned. However, she can still lead a normal life and runs and jumps with the other dogs onthe courtyard. Pecas would love to find her very own home.
This is Dankor a big Griffon Pointer. He is an about 2 years old and has been waiting for a new home for a while now. He was in a shelter, but fortunately a foster was found in Toledo in Spain, where he lives now with 2 other dogs.
Dankor is a social dog, very affectionate and can’t get enough cuddles and play. When he’s excited he lets you hear the typical “Griffon bark”. He walks well on the lead, but he’s absolutely not a dog for a short walk around the block, he needs long walks as he has a lot of energy.
Dankor gets on well with other dogs, but unfortunately not at all with cats. Would you give this young boy a chance of a fine life?
Does anyone have it in their heart for a perfect Rotty boy? If so, meet hunk Colin. He’s 5 years old and so loving and full of fun. He only has 3 legs but it doesn’t affect his ability to play or walk

Male – medium size when fully grown
YAIKO and his 2 sisters TINA AND SIA were found alone and frigtened on an Industrial Estate near to the refuge.
Someone heard their cries and contacted us to help rescue them . We have no idea how they came to be there, obviously dumped as an unwanted litter .
They are all beautiful and like all Podencos will make excellent pets for some lucky family
YAIKO is the only male, he has adapted well in our puppy refuge and loves to play with all the others – they all love a rough and tumble and as all puppies are loving and affectionate to the volunteers that come and go.
They need a home , the refuge is no substitute for a home when they can be brought up in warmth and comfort and security and most of all love!
We don’t have the time to give them what they need. They are young enough to introduce to children and cats and to socialise
They will not be able to travel to the UK until early March and they will be too young to be neutered here but will have a passport, microchip and all vaccinations
These gorgeous 4 month old pups were found in Murcia, and were almost run over in the countryside! They have obviously been dumped and they were full of fleas and ticks. The female we have called Melody is 3.5 kilos, and the male we have called Malcolm is a little bigger at 5.5 kilos.
The vet thinks they may be Bodeguero/Greyhound cross, so a very interesting mix. They are safe in foster now in Murcia, and have been wormed and had anti parasite treatment.
Can you give Melody or Malcolm a loving home? Please contact myself or Lorraine Oram.
